Abstract

The global consequences resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic imposed on established procedures and institutions the need to formulate new forms and strategies of coordination on crisis management. There will be a need to edit several specific regulations that will be able to face the required pandemic. This is suess ought to analyze the monitoring acts in the pandemic scenario carried out in the state of Santa Catarina, especially the role of the Military Police with regard to the establishment of ostensive police and the preservation of sanitary order. Qualitative, documentary, explanatory and participant observer method were used. In the end, it is observed as a result the need to expand the constitutional hermeneutics with regard to administrative police acts, specifically attributed to the multidisciplinary attributions exercised by the Military Police.
